Speaker: Gilda Peterson, Secretary of End Social Care Disgrace Campaign

Successive governments have failed to tackle and solve the crisis in social care despite the impact of this crisis on individuals and families and on the NHS itself. What should we be campaigning for?

Andy Burnham has said he wants to address the social care crisis during the current parliament – what should Save Our NHS Leicestershire campaign for in the coming year?  Come and listen to Gilda Peterson at our Annual Meeting and join us for a free lunch for all attending.

Gilda is a former social worker, who has been campaigning for a proper social care service for almost a decade.  End Social Care Disgrace is a non – party political alliance of disabled and older people’s organisations, health campaigns, carers, trade unionists and other activists. Gilda will speak after the business of our annual general meeting.
